Not a diver? No problem at all. Join us aboard MV Mahi-Mahi for a guided snorkel experience floating above the coral gardens and marine life of the Great Barrier Reef. Turtles, reef sharks, giant clams — the outer reef delivers, mask and fins or not.
All experiences depart from Clump Point Jetty, Mission Beach — a short transfer from Bedarra Island.

Water Taxi to Mission Beach
Take the Bedarra Island water taxi across to Mission Beach. It's a short, easy transfer — your reef day starts the moment you hit the water.
Board MV Mahi-Mahi at Clump Point
Meet your crew at Clump Point Jetty and board MV Mahi-Mahi. Briefings done, gear sorted, and you're outbound to the outer Great Barrier Reef.
Dive or Snorkel Beaver Reef
45–60 minutes offshore, Beaver Reef awaits. Certified divers go deep, first-timers go with a PADI instructor, snorkellers float above it all. The reef does the rest.

Yes. Bedarra Island Resort guests can take the Bedarra Water Taxi to Mission Beach and join Mission Beach Dive Adventures for a full dive or snorkel day trip on the outer Great Barrier Reef. We recommend booking in advance to secure your preferred date.
The outer Great Barrier Reef is approximately 45–60 minutes by boat from Mission Beach aboard MV Mahi-Mahi. The transfer from Bedarra Island to Mission Beach takes approximately [X] minutes by water taxi — making it an easy and rewarding day out from the resort.
